Value Stream Mapping (VSM)

Identify waste and improve customer satisfaction in your organization!

This three-day session, designed for associates at all levels in the organization, is the practical application of this visual tool that graphically identifies every step in a product’s flow from the time a customer places an order until the product is shipped.  The map gives visibility to both value adding and non-value adding steps and depicts the flow of information through the process.  This session is conducted on-site at the  facility and combines classroom instruction with the mapping of a real process for a designated product family.  The deliverables for the event are a current state map, a future state map, and an implementation plan to make the future state map the current state process.
