WCM Associates is an approved Lean Trainer for the Maryland World Class Manufacturing Consortium (www.mwcmc.org). Our strategy is to “teach you how to fish,” rather than to just “give you a fish.” Early on in our relationship with clients, we develop a WCM Associates exit strategy. Our clients do not become dependent on WCM Associates for their Lean activities. As part of this strategy, we make all of the WCM Associates’ training material available to our clients. WCM Associates has created a Certified Lean Facilitator program so that our clients can develop their own Lean in-house experts. Unlike many of WCM Associates’ competitors, we will not tell you that implementing Lean and becoming a World Class Enterprise is solely about our consultants helping you do kaizen events—it is about deploying lean as part of how you run your business.
