the Author
JERRY
FEINGOLD is a highly sought after management consultant in the field
of Lean manufacturing. He conducts major work in the United States and
Europe with a wide variety of manufacturing companies including consumer,
commercial and medical product producers, food processors and government
contractors.
He
began independent consulting in 1998 after retiring from industry where
he worked for thirty-four years in senior executive positions at four
Fortune 100 companies. He started Continuous Improvement Consultancy
in Ventura, California helping companies improve their operations through
the elimination of waste in the factory as well as service and administrative
areas.
Originally
an industrial engineer (he holds a BS in Industrial Engineering and
an MBA), he rose to the executive level where he conducted numerous
successful domestic and international start-ups and turnarounds. While
employed in industry he became an enthusiastic practitioner of Kaizen
and other Japanese Lean management techniques that he studied in Japan
and applied there. In addition to numerous speaking engagements at colleges
and universities, Jerry has been featured on public television and talk
radio.
